Ngoako Ramahlodi quits as MP
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Former Minister of Public Service and Administration Ngoako Ramahlodi has resigned as an ANC Member of Parliament.
Ramahlodi is one of five ministers President Jacob Zuma fired during his recent cabinet reshuffle, and the fourth member of the ANC to resign from Parliament. He was replaced by Faith Muthambi.
The ANC’s Nonceba Mhlauli says they will not speculate on the reason for the resignation.
“We received his resignation effective from the 31st of March and like many of the similar letters we received, there were no reasons stated for his decision and therefore we cannot speculate,” says Mhlauli.
Ramahlodi's resignation follows former Minister of Transport Dipou Peters, former Minister of Energy Tina Joemat-Petterson and former Deputy Minister of Finance Mcebisi Jonas.
