Nicholas Ninow to know fate on Monday
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Self-confessed rapist Nicholas Ninow will know his fate on Monday next week when judgment will be handed down in his trial in the high court in Pretoria.
Closing arguments were presented on Thursday, with the state submitting that the minor's rape was premeditated.
Ninow is on trial for raping a 7-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Dros restaurant in Silverton in September 2018.

State prosecutor Dorah Ngobeni told the court that during testimony, the now 8-year-old girl rebutted the sequence of events leading up to the rape, as told by Ninow.
"It is my submission that the court must find that the accused saw the child with other children in the kiddies area."
The case will finally draw to an end next week, almost after a year the rape took place.
Ninow confessed to the state in his plea bargain that he penetrated the minor through the mouth and with his finger.
He pleaded guilty to two acts of rape, the possession of drugs and defeating the ends of justice.
The state has rejected his version of events.
