No power in some Joburg suburbs
A "line fault" has caused widespread power outages in Johannesburg's northern suburbs, City Power said on Tuesday.
"City Power is currently experiencing a power line fault at the Roosevelt substation which has caused power interruptions...
"Our technical operators are currently working in the substation. City Power believes we will be able to restore electricity to the affected areas as soon as possible," it said in a statement.
The affected areas are: Roosevelt Park, Montgomery Park, Fairlands, Northcliff, Blackheath, Berario, Risidale, Albertville, Greymont, Emmarentia, Linden, and Victory Park.
