Two men, aged 23 and 24, left a tavern in the township's extension 15 together in the early hours of Saturday morning, Captain Pelonomi Makau said.

The 24-year-old was found dead in the area around 1am after being stabbed in the hip with a knife.

"...The suspect then [allegedly] robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of cash... Police were informed and the suspect was arrested on the scene," Makau said.
