Members of the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) will be staging a picket at Auckland park campus, which is on the main campus on the corner of Kingsway and University road.
Numsa's members are on strike because they say the university is exploiting them.
