NW man in court for attempted double murder
Updated | By Martine van der Walt Ehlers
A man suspected of trying to kill two women at a pub outside Rustenburg will appear in court again on Thursday.

The suspect was arrested by members of the Potchefstroom Flying Squad members in the early hours of last Sunday.
It is alleged the suspect was involved in an argument with his 30-year-old girlfriend and another woman.
Subsequently, he shot the woman in the stomach and leg in the parking area of a pub near Boitekong.
He also attempted to shoot his girlfriend, but the firearm malfunctioned and he fled the scene.
The vehicle was traced to Klerksdorp a few hours later and Flying Squad members pulled it over on the R30.
The accused was arrested and his vehicle and a firearm were seized.
He appeared in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on two counts of attempted murder where he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday.
