'Our family is broken' - Nathaniel Julies’ uncle
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
Nathaniel Julies' uncle, Cyril Brown could not hold back his tears on Saturday as the 16-year-old was laid to rest.

An emotional Brown said the hardest part was seeing his nephew lying helpless in a coffin.
Julies, referred to as Lockies by his family, was living with Down’s syndrome.
He was shot and killed a few meters from his home in Eldorado Park last week.
Three police officers have been charged with his murder.
"I just wish you could watch and see what you have done if someone can show you the emotions and the breakdown you have caused in this family,” said Brown.

“If you can see how my sister is breaking right now, knowing that she will no longer see her son and he was killed by someone who was supposed to protect him.”
He said Julies brought the family joy and peace and that has been taken away from them.
The community held a guard of honour from his home to the Mount Carmel church where a service was held.
His mother, Bridget Harris said she forgives the officers who killed her son though.
