President Jacob Zuma's state-of-the-nation address to the fifth Parliament has been brought forward two days.

"President Jacob Zuma has requested that the date for the state-of-the-nation address be changed to Tuesday, June 17," Parliament's communication service announced on Tuesday.
The opening ceremony and address were originally set for June 19.
Zuma will now deliver his address from 7pm on June 17.
No reason was given for the change of date.
Zuma was admitted to hospital on Saturday with instructions to rest and for a routine check up, according to the presidency.
The governing African National Congress, which he heads, said he was tired after a gruelling election campaign.
He was discharged on Sunday afternoon and is expected to spend the week resting.
