Pastor nabbed for alleged rape of minors
Police in Limpopo have arrested a
pastor for allegedly raping children at his church.
Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the four victims were ushers in the suspect’s church in Burgersdorp.
“The 32-year-old pastor was arrested outside Tzaneen following allegations that he raped the victims aged between 12 and 16.
“It’s alleged the pastor raped all these victims inside the church on different dates after he invited them one-by-one to come to the church for prayer and while busy praying, he will then attack the victim and rape her.”
The suspect will appear at the Lenyenye Magistrate Court on four charges of rape.
