Pedestrian killed near Port Shepstone
A woman died when she was hit by a lorry while walking on the N2 highway on Friday near Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.
Provincial Emergency Medical Service spokesman Robert Mckenzie said the woman was in the vicinity of Merlewood suburb around 6am when the accident occurred.
He said that the woman, believed to be in her 20s, had died before paramedics arrived at the accident scene. -ANA
