Pedestrians die in KZN accident

Two pedestrians died when they were knocked down by a vehicle on the M35 near Umbumbulu on Thursday, KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services said.
The pedestrians died on the scene, spokesman Robert McKenzie said.
The driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with them. He was injured, treated on the scene, and taken to the Prince Mshiyeni Hospital in Umlazi.
Police were investigating the cause of the accident.
