PICS: South Africans mark Heritage Day in colour

South African across the country are celebrating Heritage Day.

On Monday Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to unveil the statue of late President, Nelson Mandela, together with the United Nations (UN) secretary-general António Guterres, at the UN in New York.


Back home, Deputy President David Mabuza is expected to unveil the statue of the late Griqua leader, Adam Kok, in KwaZulu-Natal.


South Africans have also taken to Twitter to showcase their traditional African regalia, from the Basotho to amaXhosa outfits.
