Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The Sable dam hide in the Kruger National Park (KNP) was flooded over the weekend, forcing South African National Parks (SANParks) to close roads in the area.
In a social media thread, SANParks said guests managed to get out of the hide safely, but their vehicles were flooded.
"Sable dam guests (are) safe at Phalaborwa gate," said SANParks on Twitter.

"Two vehicles will have to be towed out."
The following roads in the KNP have been closed: S37; all grave roads in the Phalaborwa section; S28 and S13; all roads in the Kingfisherspruit section (Orpen area); all gravel roads in the Lower Sabie Section; S39 and S90 closed.
"SANParks urges all road users to exercise extreme caution when approaching low lying bridges and not to use roads with no- entry signs," read the Twitter thread.
