A Gupta-owned property in Saxonwold, north of Johannesburg has been sold at an auction R2.6 million.
The Saxonwold family home was auctioned by Park Village Auctions on Monday.
The controversial Gupta family is embroiled in claims over state capture into rampant corruption during the administration of former president Jacob Zuma.
The family home comprised of an entrance foyer, lounge, dining room, TV room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite).
The property also includes a covered patio with access to the garden area and swimming pool located at the front of the dwelling and outbuildings comprised of a double garage, staff bedroom and bathroom.
The auction listed the company Confident Concept, which is now in business rescue, as the owner of the house.
In October it was reported that Tshepiso Magashule, son of the African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Ace Magashule, was evicted from the luxurious home after he refused to vacate the property.
