Police believe body found in Vaal could be missing Yolandi Botes

Police in the Free State believe the remains of a woman found in the Vaal River next to Villiers may be that of the missing Yolandi Botes.
The 34-year-old Botes was reported missing in Brakpan in April.
Provincial polices spokesperson Motantsi Makhele says the gruesome discovery was made by a father and his son while fishing at the resort.
"The boy walked around and saw something in the river that looked like a part of the body, the police were summoned and it was confirmed it was a human foot," says Makhele.
"Police divers were summoned and once more some of the body parts of a white woman were found. Police divers are still searching for other parts of the body."
Makhele says a tattoo on one of the feet is confirmed to belong to Botes.
Police investigations are ongoing.
