Police bust counterfeit factory in Joburg CBD
Police in the Johannesburg CBD have bust a factory manufacturing counterfeit goods.
The value of the goods are estimated at R35 million.
The police, who discovered the factory on the corner of Troye and Jeppe on Thursday, were acting on a tip-off.
Police spokesperson Jeff Phora says various sporting brands were confiscated.

“We have confiscated adidas, Nike, various brands that you normally find on the streets of Joburg being sold at very cheap prices.”
Three suspects were arrested and are expected to appear in court soon.
