Police hunting for Limpopo baby’s killer

Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for the killer of a 14-month-old baby boy.
Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the baby was reported missing at the Khwekhwe police station on Monday.
"The child was allegedly sleeping with his father.
“It was reported that the child’s father went to the toilet at about 20:00 on the Sunday and when he came back, he allegedly found the child missing."

Ngoepe says the child had been staying with the mother after the couple separated.
"The police responded immediately and started with the initial investigations.
“The lifeless body of the child was then found with multiple injuries in the crèche yard not far from his father's house."
The motive for the murder is unknown.
