Police officer among latest 'unrest instigators' in Durban court

Four more people accused of instigating last year's unrest in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal have been granted bail.
The suspects, one of whom is a police office, appeared in the Durban Regional Court on Monday following their arrest over the weekend.
Twenty-nine-year-old Sibusiso Ngubane, 37-year-old Mthokozisi Gwala, 43-year-old Menzi Bulose and 51-year-old Matthews Ntjonto stood briefly in the dock of Court U.
They are facing charges of conspiracy to commit public violence, incitement to commit public violence and incitement to commit arson.

All four have chosen to use legal aid.
The magistrate granted them bail of R 3 000 each and postponed the matter to 26 August when they will appear with other suspects in the case.
Last week, the court heard more arrests are expected over the course of the week.
Twenty-two others were nabbed last week in six provinces and appeared in court on Friday.
