Power outage affects Gautrain on Midrand to Hatfield route
A power failure on Thursday morning has disrupted the Gautrain train services between the Midrand and Hatfield stations.
Gautrain spokesperson Kesagee Nayager says buses are currently transporting commuters between the two affected stations.
"The technicians are currently working to restore the power and we apologise to our customers who have been affected by this incident and we will keep them updated in this regard."
It is not yet clear when the Gauteng speed train will be back on these routes.
