Power supply stable
The national power supply remained constrained but stable on Tuesday, Eskom's media desk said.
"However, any unforeseen fault on the system may trigger the need to implement load shedding."
Rolling power cuts were implemented as a last resort to protect the power system from collapsing, it said.
Eskom reiterated its appeal for consumers to reduce electricity usage.
