PRASA boss 'sets the record straight' over salary
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa's (PRASA) acting Chief Executive Officer, Collins Letsoalo has hit back at reports that he gave himself a massive salary hike.
"That was the beginning of a media assault coming from an unholy alliance between those that seek to destabilise PRASA and it looks like the media," says Lesoalo.
Letsoalo briefed the media in Pretoria to set the record straight, following a report in the Sunday Times containing allegations that he received a "350 percent salary increase."
The acting CEO of the entity read out his appointment letter and handed out documents to prove that he did not give himself an increase when he accepted the position in July 2016.
