[WATCH] President Ramaphosa addresses SA on Covid developments

Ramaphosa engaged with the South African National Editor's Forum (Sanef) this past week where a number of questions were asked about the lower infection numbers and whether the country would be moved to a state of fewer restrictions.
With South Africa's lockdown nearing almost a year, President Cyril Ramaphosa is set addressed the country on Sunday night.
The Presidency announced on Sunday afternoon that he would speak on "developments in the country’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic" in his so-called family meeting.
Ramaphosa engaged with the South African National Editor's Forum (Sanef) this past week where a number of questions were asked about the lower infection numbers and whether the country would be moved to a state of fewer restrictions.
The country received its second batch of Johnson and Johnson vaccines this weekend and has been making good process in vaccinating front-line workers.

The President's address follows meetings in recent days of the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC), the President’s Coordinating Council (PCC), and Cabinet.
