Prominent Polokwane attorney arrested for shooting
A prominent Polokwane attorney has been arrested in connection with the shooting of four people on Thursday morning.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Lebowakgomo Magistrate's Court on four counts of attempted murder.
He is accused of shooting four of his employees following a conflict at his office in Zebediela.
"It is alleged that the suspect had a meeting with some of the employees in this company offices and during the meeting, a conflict ensued and subsequently the suspect produced a firearm and shot four protesters aged 32, 50, 52 and 38 before fleeing the scene with his vehicle," says police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe.
Ngoepe says the four employees were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
"All these victims sustained serious gunshot wounds, but one of them is more serious."
