Public Protector's office collapses
The Office of the Public Protector (PP) in Pretoria has suffered a major blow after the building's second floor collapsed.
The collapse was caused by overnight rains.
Spokesperson Cleopatra Mosana says important files are housed on that floor.
"The collapse occurred on the offices of the second floor where we kept evidence files, the office of the public protector and the deputy public protector."

Mosana says some of the files were damaged.
"We have put them in boxes obviously they have to dry, because the office was flooded", adds Mosana.
The cost of the damage has not yet been established.
