Qwaqwa teen accused of raping sister
A teenager accused of raping his seven-year-old sister at their home near Tseki village in QwaQwa will appear in court next week, Free State police said on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old boy allegedly raped his sister at their father's home in Maralleng section on Saturday afternoon, while they were sitting under a tree with their two-year-old sibling, Sergeant Mmako Mophiring said.
The matter was reported to police on Monday.
Mophiring said the children shared the same father but had different mothers.
The boy has since been placed under his mother's supervision.
He will appear at the Tseki Magistrate's Court on Monday on a rape charge.
