‘Reckless’ driver arrested for emerging from moving car on Moloto Road
Law enforcement have arrested the man seen protruding from the window of his car while driving in in the north of Tshwane.
The man was filmed driving along Moloto Road in a red Range Rover last week and steering the vehicle apparently with his arms and legs.
In the video that has now gone viral, he’s seen briefly veering into oncoming traffic where he narrowly missed an approaching truck.
Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) spokesperson Simon Zwane says the man was charged with reckless driving on Wednesday.
Zwane slammed the driver for his reckless behaviour.
“Investigations led our investigators to Marble Hall where he was interviewed in his business premises and he was taken to Kameeldrift where the incident happened.
“He’s expected to appear in court on the 29th of December.”
Zwane adds investigations are continuing.
