Reports: Walter Sisulu University student shot dead
It's reported that a student has been shot and killed during a protest at the Walter Sisulu University (WSU), Mthatha Campus in the Eastern Cape.
It's alleged that a residence manager opened fire on Tuesday morning when protesters allegedly torched a vehicle near a student accommodation.
The shooting incident allegedly left one student wounded.
Students were protesting over unresolved demands over residential issues.
Eastern Cape police are yet to comment on the alleged incident.
