SA calls for stronger fight against Ebola in Davos

The Department of Health is calling for a stronger fight against Ebola in Davos.
Speaking in Davos, Switzerland, Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says Ebola in West Africa has a global context for which the world must be prepared.
Motsoaledi is among the delegates invited to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
This is the first time the health sector has been requested to participate.
He says the business and finance sectors take health as a cost and expenditure, something which has to change.
“We would like to show these sectors that it is an investment. Nobody has been able to achieve economic growth without a healthy population,” he said.
