Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A video of a motorist reportedly knocking over a delivery man has received massive criticism on social media.
The footage, captured by the driver of the vehicle on his cellphone, shows him intentionally obstructing the motorcycle on the roadway after both vehicles take off from a traffic stop in Port Elizabeth.
Posted on Community Facebook page, Police pics and clips, the driver is heard in the video using derogatory terms in Afrikaans with reference to the delivery man on the motorcycle.
This comes as Anti-Racism Week, launched by the Anti-Racism Network of South Africa (ARNSA), kicks off today.
The campaign seeks to encourage South Africans to speak out and act against racism.
Social media users are encouraged to pledge support on Twitter or Facebook using the #TakeonRacism hashtag.
