SA records 1 800 new Covid-19 cases
South Africa has reported an additional 1 806 coronavirus cases.
A total of 18 123 Covid-19 tests were conducted over the 24-hour cycle to Sunday – with 1 806 coming back positive.
South Africa has a total of 636 884 confirmed cases while 561 204 people have recovered.
The country has a recovery rate of 88%.
3,7 million tests have been carried out in total.
An additional 101 Covid-19 related deaths were reported bringing the total fatalities to 14 779.
