On Thursday Gauteng will remain partly cloudy for most of the day, with temperatures expected to peak at 18 degrees.

A small chance of thunderstorms is expected over the province on Friday.

“The weekend, partly cloudy and cool conditions but for Saturday the chances are bit high for storms, we are looking at 60 per cent chance,” says SAWC forecaster, Bransby Bulo.

“Earlier this week there was cold front that was brushing the southern and some eastern parts of the country, although it was not that strong. It has since moved to east of the country, bringing some cloudy conditions in our areas.”
