SABC inquiry committee adopts report
The Ad Hoc Committee on the SABC Board Inquiry has finalised its report and adopted it.
Committee chairperson Vincent Smith says it will be published on the Announcements Tablings and Committee (ATC) report, after which it will be tabled in the National Assembly on Tuesday next week.
"I am confident that the committee has done due diligence to its mandate and believe that the National Assembly will agree with us. I would like to express my appreciation to the team spirit displayed by members of the committee across party lines, as well as the support staff. We would also like to thank the media and the public for their patience and support," says Smith.
The committee is confident that it has considered all the responses to its draft report in a detailed, fair and transparent manner.
