Workers affiliated to Samwu are set to march to Tshwane House in protest against various issues, including the non-payment of salary increases.
The marchers will gather at Old Putco Depot, corner Eskia Mphahlele Drive and Struben Street from 9 am.
Metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba said several streets will be affected.
"The marchers will move from the gathering point, join Struben Street, turn right onto Sophie De Bruyn, turn left onto Madiba Street, then proceed straight until they reach Tshwane House at Lillian Ngoyi Street and Madiba Street.
"The following streets will be affected: Johannes Ramokgoase Street, Kgosi Mampuru Street, Bosman Street, Paul Kruger Street, Thabo Sehume Street, Lillian Ngoyi Street
Madiba Street, Struben Street and Sophie De Bruyn Street."
Mahamba said the marchers are expected to disperse from the Tshwane House at 2 pm.
"Motorists are advised to avoid affected streets and use alternative routes such as: Nana Sita Street, WF Nkomo Street, Boom Street, Francis Baard Street, Sisulu Street and Nelson Mandela Drive."
Tshwane metro police officers will be deployed to monitor the affected streets.
