Service delivery protest in Centurion
Hundreds of angry residents of the Mooiplaas informal settlement protested near the R55 in Centurion this morning.
The police's Mavela Masondo says residents took to the streets early this morning.

"The protest started on the R55 around 6am where residents blockaded and barricaded roads, with burning tyres and stones", says Masondo.
Police managed to move the protestors away from the main road.

"Protestors have now being moved into the informal settlement where they will be handing over a memorandum to officials from the Premier's office."
