South Africa drops to 7th place in Covid-19 infections across the globe

South Africa has dropped down another spot on the worldometer.info when it comes to countries with the most Covid-19 infections.

Colombia has overtaken South Africa with more cases.
As of Sunday evening, a total of 638 517 Covid-19 infections have been recorded in South Africa.
This is an increase of 1 633 new cases in the past 24 hours.

A further 110 deaths have been recorded.
Mpumalanga has recorded 34 deaths, 31 from KwaZulu-Natal, 24 from Gauteng ,while 7 deaths have been confirmed in the Eastern Cape.
The Free State has recorded 9 deaths, with only one death confirmed in the Western Cape in the cycle up to Sunday evening.
The recovery rate continues to remain firmly at 88%.
