Sphithiphithi Evaluator in ‘very high spirits’ ahead of court appearance for incitement

Lawyers representing twitter user Sphithiphithi Evaluator @_AfricanSoil say she is in "very high spirits" ahead of her court appearance on Monday.
The social media user was arrested on Saturday on charges of inciting violence during last month’s civil unrest.
Over 300 people died as a result of the violence and looting in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
On Sunday, her lawyers released a statement on Twitter saying they were preparing for her bail application.

She is expected to make her first appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

Another Twitter user who is a 35 year-old male was also arrested on Saturday for inciting public violence through social media and other platforms.
The suspect is linked to the looting and violence at Brookside Mall in Pietermaritzburg which was completely destroyed after it was set alight.
He will appear at the Pietermaritzburg High Court.
