The provincial National Prosecuting Authority’s (NPA) Tembeka Mbadu says 4 to 8 March and 11 to 15 March has been set aside as trial dates in the North West high court.
"The state has a concrete case against the accused, that I can tell you, but then everything will now be dealt with in court then we will just have to wait and see how it will go.
"The accused said the state must prove him beyond resonable doubt and that's what we going to do.”
Bylsma is being charged for allegedly killing two 17-year-old girls last year, Marna Engelbrecht and Sharnelle Hough, whose bodies were found at the Stella High School’s hostel.
Engelbrecht body was found hanging from the rails of the staircase at the hostel, Hough body was found with a string around her neck in the hostel's bathroom.
Bylsma was in a relationship with 17-year-old Sharnelle Hough.
