Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
The City of Tshwane is dealing with power outages and fallen trees following thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon.
The municipality's spokesperson Lindela Mashigo says the outages are in various parts of the region.
"All our teams are working diligently to repair and speedily address the service challenges impacted by the weather."
Mashigo says the teams will be prioritising the mass outages before individual complaints can be attended to.
"Last night, the wet weather conditions made it difficult to restore power in some of the zones mentioned above. We remain committed to ensuring that all our consumers receive power supply as soon as possible."
