Stun grenades, rubber bullets fired at Wits
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Police fired stun grenades and rubber bullets on the Wits campus in Braamfontein.

That's after students threw stones at police and private security.
Students were trying to gain access to the Solomon Mahlangu hall but security stayed put, blocking the way.
Another group started disrupting classes and knocking on lecture hall doors.
Earlier student leaders addressed a large crowd of students, urging them to remain calm while accompanied by leaders of the SA council of churches.
