Suspects in traffic uniforms hijack copper truck

Limpopo Police have launched a manhunt for three suspects
who hijacked a truck transporting copper.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the truck was on its way from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to Durban.
According to Mojapelo, the driver and his wife pulled over next to the N1 in the Musina area, after they were stopped by what they believed were traffic officials.

The suspects forced the couple into the extra cap of the horseand drove with them until they reached the Doreen/Verbaard gravel road, where they were left stranded.
The horse of the truck was later found abandoned without the two trailers along the Venitia road.
Mojapelo says police suspect that the suspects used another vehicle to pull the trailers from the area.
