Sword death case postponed

A teenage boy accused of hacking his grandmother to death with a sword will appear in court again later this month, Beeld newspaper reported on Thursday.
The 16-year-old pupil of Hoërskool Florida appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
He was supported in court by his parents and grandfather.
Assessments by psychologists and social workers will be presented to court on February 25.
He allegedly stabbed his 76-year-old grandmother with a sword in December last year. The motive was not known.
