The 41-year-old teacher, who works at a primary school in Elsburg, and two of the Nigerians, were arrested in the Brakpan CBD on Saturday morning, Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago said in a statement.
Following a tip-off, officers watched an exchange between two of the Nigerians in a silver Daewoo and a man in a Ford Figo on Hendrik Potgieter Street.
The three were arrested for possession of methcathinone (cat).
At the Queen Street home of the two Nigerians, metro police arrested three of their countrymen when they found more drugs hidden in the kitchen cupboards.
Crystal methamphetamine (tik) and cat with a street value of about R10,000 were confiscated.
All six men are expected to appear in the Brakpan Magistrate's Court on Monday. The teacher faces a charge of possession, and the five Nigerians charges of possession and drug dealing.
