Technical glitch sees Tshwane emergency services unable to take calls

A technical glitch left residents of Tshwane unable to contact the city’s emergency services on Thursday morning.
Both the toll-free 107 number and landlines were unable to take calls.
Emergency services spokesperson Charles Mabaso has urged Tshwane residents to alternative numbers to report fires and life-threatening emergencies.
“Please call the following alternative numbers to report a fire or life-threatening emergency 083 232 5398 or 082 879 1191.
“The services providers have been notified and technicians are working on resolving the problem.”
