Three arrested in PTA drug bust
Three Nigerian men were arrested on Friday after being found in possession of drugs to the value of over R150 000.
Pretoria West police spokesperson Tumisang Moloto says patrol members together with the K9 unit received a tip-off an alleged drug operation which led them to a house in Begvilla Street.
Moloto says: "Three Nigerian men were found packing 92 packets of khat. Two large packets containing khat rocks, a weighing scale and packaging material were also found in the house."
A police dog also found drugs worth R150 000 hidden inside a heater.
The suspects have been detained at Pretoria West Police Station and will appear in court soon.
