Three dead in Meyerton crash

Three people have been killed and five others injured in a crash involving a bakkie in Meyerton last night.
The victims include a 2-year-old-year child.
ER24 spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen says five people sustained moderate to serious injuries.

"When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene they found a bakkie off the road lying on its roof.
"Upon further assessment, they found three people showing no signs of life. One of the deceased was a boy believed to be 2-years-old. ER24 declared all three of the patients dead on the scene."
The cause of the accident will be investigated.
