Three trucks set alight in Limpopo

Mpumalanga police are investigating a case of malicious damage to property and arson after three trucks were burnt out on the R555.
The incident occurred between Middleburg and Stoffberg on Sunday.
The incident occured shortly before the Ministers of Transport, as well as Employment and Labour, Police and Home Affairs held urgent discussions over a planned nationwide strike in which truck drivers were targeted.
The ministers called it an act of economic sabotage.

Mpumalanga Police spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi says no supsects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
It has been reported that eyewitnesses saw heavily armed suspects leaving the scene in six vehicles.
