Two killed in Tzaneen fire

Two people have been killed in a fire that destroyed almost 150 shacks at the Talana Hostel in the Tzaneen industrial area this morning.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, says the shacks seemingly caught fire in the early hours of this morning.
"We are still determining whether only two people died or if other people are still trapped," says Ngoepe.

Ngoepe says the two people who died are both men in their thirties.
He says the fire has been extinguished.
"Forensic investigations are underway to determine the cause of fire," says Ngoepe.
