Two men to appear in court for murder
Two men will appear in the Botshabelo Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday after they allegedly stabbed another man to death, Free State police said.
Constable Sinah Mpakane said the two, aged 19 and 21, were charged with murder and robbery after they allegedly attacked Mohau Moko, 26, on Sunday.
“The victim came running to his aunt’s house in Botshabelo section N from the nearby tavern. He was followed by two men who on arrival fatally stabbed the victim with a knife,” said Mpakane.
She said Moko sustained three stab wounds, one to the back, another to the right side of the chest, and the third one to the back of the head.
“He died on the scene.
“An intelligence-driven investigation done by Detective/Const Letlojane led to the arrest of these two suspects. One of them was found with the sports shoes belonging to the deceased.”
The suspects were arrested on Monday, Mpakane said. -ANA
