[WATCH] Good rainfall leaves Namaqualand residents in awe
Updated | By JacarandaFM News / Facebook
Residents of the dry Namaqualand area of the Northern Cape have taken to social media with videos and photos showing the hard rain falling over the weekend.
The dark rain clouds rolled in over the arid area as part of the massive cold front that swept through South Africa from Thursday.
One resident posted his video on Facebook, waxing lyrical about the good rain and the relief it will bring to people of Namaqua who have been hard hit by a devastating drought.

Meanwhile, another cold front is on its way.
The SA Weather Service (SAWS) says it expects more snowfall over parts of the Western and Northern Cape this week.
