[WATCH] Heavy snowfall in Sutherland
Snowfall in has turned the high grounds of the Western Cape
and low grounds of the Northern Cape into a winter wonderland.
A massive cold front has been moving through the provinces since Tuesday, creating severe cold conditions.
The snow blanket turned the Sutherland area into a scenes straight out of Winterveld in the hit TV series, Game of Thrones.

SA Weather Services forecaster, Kholofelo Mahlangu, says the cold conditions do however come with a warning.
"Firstly, we have extreme fire danger conditions in the Northern Cape, spreading into the little Karroo over the Western Cape province," says Mahlangu.
She warns along the coastal lines gale force winds blowing at 65 kilometres per hour can be expected.
